SHABBAT TORAH STUDY
Larry Giltman leads the Shabbat Morning Torah study conducted weekly at Temple Beth El Israel, 9:00-9:45 a.m. in the Temple Social Hall.
Torah study is devoted to the reading, contemplation, and understanding of the weekly Parasha (portion) Torah passages from the Five Books of Moses.
Everyone is welcome to join with the study group in an effort to understand the stories and history found in the Torah in a way one may have never previously considered. The sessions are anything but boring!
Torah study is scheduled prior to Shabbat morning services. Text from the Hebrew Bible is reviewed, and discussion focuses on how the passages are pertinent to everyday living.
