MISSION OF TEMPLE BETH EL ISRAEL
The mission of Temple Beth El Israel shall be to provide spiritual, social, educational, and community service to the Treasure Coast.
Additionally, the Temple promotes the enduring and fundamental principles of Judaism thereby ensuring the continuity of the Jewish people. The Temple functions to enable its adherents to develop a relationship with God through communal worship, study, and assembly and to apply the principles of Reform Judaism to the values and conduct of the individual, family, and society.
Temple Beth El Israel serves as a “spiritual beacon” throughout Florida’s Treasure Coast. Established in 1948, the Temple has developed from humble beginnings in the City of Fort Pierce into a congregation now located in Port St. Lucie, one of the fastest growing areas in the nation.
